“The Knack” is a British comedy about a young country girl arriving to London and by chance meeting three young men. Those three try their best to find the right “knack” to win her heart. Why does it appear to be so easy for one and so hard for another? And how does the young lady perceive the boys’ advances?

Revolving around flirtation and romance, this play is characterized by carelessness, joy, and situation comedy. Written in 1961, “The Knack” brough Ann Jellicoe much success at the Royal Court Theatre in London. The feature film based on the play won a Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival.
