“Biloxi Blues” is the second part of Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical “Eugene Trilogy”, focusing on the experiences of the young Eugene M. Jerome who dreams of becoming a writer. In 1943 Eugene is mobilised to the army and sent to two and a half months training course, where he and his companions have to prepare for war under the guidance of the eccentric sergeant Toomey. Six lads with a different background and different view of the world each have their own dreams and fears. Life in the army teaches them a lot not only about the war but also about each other, about themselves and about life.

“Biloxi Blues”, produced in the series of Ten Theatre Take-Offs, is Sander Pukk’s début as director.
